This skill helps you and your companion step up to activity challenge by taking steps more often to achieve a higher goal of activity. Alexa will tell you about your steps, and those of your group to keep you informed and motivated. You will know not only your steps, but your group goal and how your activity is contributing to the overall goal. You can ask how others are doing too and how their activities compare to yours. Alexa will direct you to various parts of the report you want to listen. With this skill and your Echo, there is no need to access your smart phone or your computer every time to view everyone's data.<br/>This skill uses data from your Fitbit tracker and those from your group to compile the activity report. So everyone in your group must register to share their activity data. To get started, <br/>1. go to to sign up. Make sure you use your Amazon email for the Alexa app as your user ID to complete the sign-up form. Choose your group name or join an existing group. To remove from from your group later, just log in to your Fitbit account to revoke access.<br/>2. Open your Alexa app, enable and link this app to your Alexa account. <br/>3. When completed, you should be able to start the skill with your Echo by saying &ldquo;Alexa, Open Step Up Companion&rdquo;, or &ldquo;Alexa, Open Step Up Companion for my activity&rdquo; or &ldquo;Alexa, Open Step Up Companion for group report&rdquo;,<br/>You can cancel a report half way by saying &ldquo;Alexa, Cancel&rdquo;, or exit this skill by saying &ldquo;Stop&rdquo;.<br/>For more instructions, say Help any time.
