Knowing the category name helps you hear and favorite stories about all services in that category.<br/><br/>Listen to AWS news on any Alexa enabled device.<br/>&ldquo;Alexa, launch AWS.&rdquo; or<br/>&quot;Alexa, ask AWS for the latest&quot;.<br/> <br/>On-demand access to stories per category and service: <br/>You can quickly and intuitively get quick access to stories per service and category by saying: <br/>&ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS for stories in S3.&rdquo;<br/>&ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS for stories in Compute.&rdquo;<br/>This plays all past stories in a particular category or service.<br/> <br/>Quick and concise description of AWS services and categories by saying: <br/>&ldquo;Alexa, Ask AWS to tell me about Lambda&rdquo; or<br/>&ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS what is networking&rdquo;<br/> <br/>Build your customized playlist: <br/>The AWS skill is the first to filter news by multiple categories and services and save your preferences for future use. There a few ways to create your customized list. To establish your favorites, say:<br/>&ldquo;Alexa ask AWS to add my favorites&rdquo;<br/> <br/>If you are familiar with the services and categories, you can say: <br/>&ldquo;Alexa ask AWS to add Snowball to my favorites&rdquo;<br/>&ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS to remove storage from my favorites&rdquo;<br/>&ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS to clear Lambda&rdquo;<br/>&quot;Alexa, ask AWS to clear my favorites&quot;<br/><br/>If you are not familiar, you can add them while listening to stories or by browsing the categories and services. Just say &ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS for help&rdquo; or during playback, say:<br/>&quot;Alexa, ask AWS to set as a favorite&quot;.<br/><br/>Other details to know and try:<br/><br/>Stories played:<br/>When you get the latest AWS news or listen to your favorites, stories are played in chronological order, starting with the most recent announcements during the past month. You can hear stories older than the prior month if you request stories from a particular service or category, for example, &ldquo;Alexa, ask AWS for stories in DynamoDB&rdquo;. In that case, you&rsquo;ll hear stories that will keep playing until publication dates in early 2017.
